Studio Moebius

Nikunj Patel is a multidisciplinary digital artist who seeks to bring digital practices out of the studio, and into live, spatial, experiential settings. His work exists at the intersection of animation, illustration, projection-based installations, VJ-ing, graphic design. He is also interested in expressing his creativity through music production and DJ-ing. 

His love for pairing music and visual art has manifested in gig posters, event designs, music videos, projection mapping installations, and even a debut electronic music LP titled “Memento.” He has been part of residencies and shows that include the Border Movement Video Lab Colombo, 2014; Story of Light, Goa, 2015; Appa Art Fest, 2017; ‘Subsequence, Colombo, 2018; and Kala Kala Kala, 50 Years of Goethe Institut Mumbai, 2019.

Studio Moebius is Patel’s animation and visual design studio based in Mumbai, India. He is a motion specialist with years of experience in animation direction and 2D animation film-making.
